Where can I buy Internet Genealogy?
Internet Genealogy is available by subscription (you can order it as a print or PDF edition). To subscribe, complete our subscription order form to start receiving Internet Genealogy at your home. Internet Genealogy can also be found on many newsstands, including Barnes and Noble, Chapters (in Canada) and possibly others.
Internet Genealogy is also available from the Apple iTunes store in single copy or subscription format for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices. PLEASE NOTE: Moorshead Magazines does not maintain the iTunes single-copy or subscription transactions: these are maintained through PocketMags.com. We cannot answer queries about sales of single copies or subscriptions purchased through iTunes (PocketMags.com).

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes, there is no risk. If Internet Genealogy fails to meet your needs, or live up to the promises we have made, you are entitled to a refund on all unmailed copies for any reason or no reason. Any refund will be made promptly and cheerfully. We also refund the shipping portion of your order.
When can I expect my first issue?
Once we receive your order, we process it immediately. The standard delivery time is 4-6 weeks. If you order your new subscription in the first month of the issue, your subscription will start with the current issue. For example, if you subscribed in May, your first issue would be the May/June issue. New subscriptions ordered in the latter month of an issue will start with the following issue. For example, if you subscribed in June, your first issue would be the July/August issue.
When in the month will my magazine arrive?
We try to arrange for the magazines to be on the newsstands and for subscribers to receive their copies on the first day of the first month on the cover (i.e. October/November issue on 1 October).
What if my magazine doesn't arrive?

How do I order a gift subscription?
Visit our on-line shopping cart and make your selection for the term of the subscription, and complete the necessary ordering information and recepient's complete name and mailing address in the appropriate area of the form. You can even enter a short message in the comment field of the order page and Internet Genealogy will send a card to the gift recipient.
How do I renew my subscription?
Visit our on-line shopping cart and make your selection for the term of the subscription and complete the necessary ordering information. If available, enter the six digit subscriber code from the mailing label (upper left corner) in the comment area of the order form.
How do I report a change of address?
Notify the Circulation Department via e-mail, fill out our address change form, or call 1-888-326-2476 or 416-491-3699. Please allow 3-6 weeks for your address change to appear on your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Notify the Circulation Department by calling 1-888-326-2476 or 416-491-3699, or in writing to our mailing address. A refund will be issued for all unmailed copies remaining on your subscription.
What happens to my subscription if you go out of business?
Internet Genealogy is published by a financially healthy company so this possibility is remote. In 32 years of publishing, we can honestly claim that no subscriber has ever lost their money. If Internet Genealogy were to close, all subscribers would be offered an alternative publication or a refund.
Do you offer a trial copy of Internet Genealogy?
No, but you can download a free issue at no charge here.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept payments via PayPal through our online shopping cart.
Is your server secure for credit card use?
Our order forms are hosted on a secure server, meaning it is safe to enter your credit card information on the site. Our secure site certificate is issued by Network Solutions, a respected certificate signing authority. You can check the validity of our secure site certificate by clicking on the Network Solutions logo located on order pages. We take credit card security seriously: we do not keep credit card numbers on a computer database and we shred all written notes once the transaction has been completed. If you are not comfortable with entering your information on the site, please use one of our other ordering options. Your credit card company does not hold you responsible for fraud committed on Internet transactions.

Who publishes Internet Genealogy and where are you located?
Internet Genealogy is published by Moorshead Magazines Ltd. The publisher is Edward Zapletal. The founding president and former publisher is Halvor Moorshead. Internet Genealogy is based in Toronto, Canada. The Niagara Falls address is a mail drop box; we do not have offices in Niagara Falls. We consider ourselves to be North American: 90 percent of the circulation is in the US, 9 percent in Canada and one percent elsewhere.
What related magazines do you publish?
Moorshead Magazines Ltd. publishes three titles and a number of special publications and books. The most relevant to Internet Genealogy readers is Family Chronicle. Family Chronicle was launched in 1996; we describe it as a "How-to" magazine appealing to a broad range of genealogists. We also publish History Magazine which is dedicated to increasing our understanding of social history, in particular the life and times of ordinary people. History Magazine carries features about how our ancestors lived in a manner you will find nowhere else.
